City of Benbrook Platting Process Every owner of every tract of land located within the corporate limits or extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Benbrook who divides the tract into two or more parts as provided in Chapter 212, Subchapter A and B, of the Local Government Code must file a plat made by a registered public surveyor which accurately describes all of the tracts by previously platted lot and block number, or by metes and bounds if necessary, and locate them as required by the Subdivision Ordinance for approval by the City.
